Jack Santos
Jack Santos is a dynamic healthcare executive with over a decade of experience driving strategic growth,
operational excellence, and financial turnarounds in healthcare organizations. He began his career as a volunteer
EMT at 16, transitioning to the emergency room as an ER Tech. He later moved into pediatric case management
and then joined the FQHC world by focusing on HIV care in a Ryan White Program. Afterward, he advanced to
QA/QI coordination roles before stepping into healthcare administration.
Jack has a proven track record of transforming Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and large health
systems by optimizing revenue cycles, enhancing patient access, and implementing innovative care models. He
excels in leading large teams, data analysis, and fostering a culture of performance improvement and patient-centered
care.
His leadership has resulted in significant operational improvements, including reducing non-billable visits by 88%
and launching telehealth workflows that facilitated billable visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he
has secured over $15 million in grant funding to drive community health initiatives.
Prior to joining aes, Jack served as the Chief Operating Officer at an FQHC in Camden, NJ and as Deputy
Director for Ambulatory Care Services in New York City. His leadership style is defined by a strategic vision, data driven
decision-making, and a relentless commitment to improving healthcare outcomes.
Jack holds a Master of Public Health with a graduate certificate in Health Management and Policy from
Benedictine University. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. Jack is
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified and is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish.
